Our Initiatives

At Axis Max Life Insurance, we are dedicated to driving positive change across key areas - education, environmental sustainability, financial literacy and insurance awareness, healthcare, and livelihood. Through meaningful partnerships and active employee engagement, we work to uplift underprivileged communities and foster inclusive, sustainable growth.

Education

Max India Foundation, the CSR arm of the Max Group, is committed to empowering children through education and sustainable livelihoods. In alignment, Axis Max Life has long supported several NGOs to drive grassroots impact. In FY 2025, Axis Max Life partnered with 9 leading NGOs, directly benefiting 25,313 students and indirectly reaching 25 lac more. Support also extended to 16,763 teachers, educators and fellows. A key initiative this year was the launch of Anandin, a foundational learning program for rural children aged 4–8, in partnership with Learning Space Foundation in Maharashtra. The program focuses on building strong literacy and numeracy skills to ensure a solid academic foundation.

Financial Literacy and Insurance Awareness



Raising awareness around insurance and financial literacy is key to building financially secure communities. Axis Max Life is committed to this goal through dedicated programs conducted across various districts, helping individuals understand the importance of financial planning and access government welfare schemes.

In FY 2025, these initiatives directly benefited 46,301 individuals and indirectly reached 12,89,396 more across the districts of Varanasi, Haridwar, and East Singhbhum.

In FY 2025, Axis Max Life Insurance, in collaboration with Saaras Foundation and Haqdarshak, positively impacted the lives of 46,301 citizens across Varanasi, Haridwar, and East Singhbhum. This initiative focuses on promoting insurance awareness and financial literacy as essential tools for building sustainable livelihoods.

The program addresses key barriers that citizens face in understanding and accessing government welfare schemes. By leveraging a tech-enabled platform with schemes mapped in local languages, and conducting detailed need assessment surveys and citizen profiling, it generates a personalized list of eligible schemes for each individual.

Beyond enabling access to welfare benefits that supplement household income, the project fosters financial confidence and awareness, encouraging citizens to actively engage in financial conversations and make informed decisions for their future.

ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

At Axis Max Life Insurance, sustainability is at the heart of our CSR efforts. In FY 2025, we took significant steps toward conserving natural resources and nurturing the environment. In partnership with CSRBOX, we revived a dried-up pond in Budhera, Gurugram, benefiting over 5,000 community members. The rejuvenated pond has since been handed over to the local Panchayat to ensure its long-term sustainability.

We also partnered with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to maintain a 4.5 km green belt along MG Road, bringing renewed greenery and a breath of fresh air to the city. Further strengthening our commitment, our employees actively participated by planting 14,599 saplings and distributing 1 lakh water-saving nozzles, promoting environmental conservation and responsible water usage.

Joy of Giving – Employee Volunteering at Axis Max Life

Joy of Giving’ was launched to foster a culture of caring and social responsibility among our employees. In FY 2025, 2,445 employees volunteered across locations, collectively impacting the lives of 53,579 beneficiaries including persons with disabilities, war widows, veterans, children and the elderly.
